High precision rotary encoder

Encoders are divided into absolute value type and incremental type. At present, the price of absolute encoders is about 4 times that of incremental encoders. 70% of the applications on the domestic market are incremental encoders with relatively economical prices. They are mainly used in industries such as packaging, textiles, elevators, etc. It is required to measure the speed of the machine and the absolute position measurement is not high. However, in high-precision machinery and equipment or heavy industries such as steel, ports, and lifting, absolute encoders are used in more cases due to relatively high requirements for measurement accuracy.
